Emily, Great job and beautiful old and New York, polite society. I was hired to play piano in the lobby of the Grand Hyatt lobby for lunches from opening day in 1980 to 1987. I met a lot of old-timers passing through the new lobby. Thank you Emily, and continuing success to you. bd

Back kn the 50’s the Commodore hosted the Hairdressers Convention. we always had a great time.

My Grandfather worked at this hotel in the 1920’s until he retired in the 1960’s. In the 1990’s my cousin Michael was the General Manager.

In 1974 and 1975 the Commodore hosted the first two Star Trek conventions in New York City. I remember staying there, and they did an excellent job for us.
