Unfortunately Chicago’s claimed “Arts in Transit” and SEPTA has “Art in Transit” so I guess Denver had to try and be unique.

I’m assuming it’s intended to mean “Art in Transit” (as opposed to “Art and Transit”) but, if so, why the second hyphen? For that matter, why the first hyphen? Why not the usual apostrophe (e.g. Art ‘n Transit)?
