I haven’t looked at anyone’s blog in weeks. Yours is the only I’ve seen so far. I didn’t realize how much I missed it, you do such a great job! Just reading yours and seeing your photos made me miss blogging too. I’m trying to work on one now. I’m having a really hard time writing lately.

In reply to Sheryl. Oh, they are. So nasty. I do believe that one evening my train has a person that seriously flung shit all over the bathroom, which was partially visible on the door or something. People were talking about it, but it was certainly not something I was going to go and investigate. I guess worse does happen :P Lol and you so went to town today commenting on here. You make me feel important :P

oh my god. I can’t even begin to tell you what a huge pet peeve of mine this is. I will never understand how people think this is acceptable. I can’t believe how high that woman’s feet were! And that other one – BAREFOOT?!?! I have never seen that! (not yet anyway) I have a blog drafted on this subject, I will definitely link to this post. People are so effing nasty. Seriously.

In reply to Scottieboy. Wow, a criminal record for putting your feet on the seats? I know I have heard some stories about people on the NY subway getting fined for putting their feet up, but it doesnâ€™t seem like it is a rule that is much enforcedâ€¦ and when it *is* it seems to be late at night when nothing is going on. People complain that they ought to be fining them when they are putting their feet up and preventing someone on a full train from sitting. That is pretty obnoxious. As are the folks that find it necessary to remove their shoes/socks and *then* put their feet up on the seat.

On Merseyrail, my local network, it’s actually against the law to put your feet on the seat – if a guard catches you, you can be taken to court, fined, and given a criminal record!
