    My NYC born wife moved to Michigan; we’ll be celebrating Grand Central’s birthday with Nathan’s Famous hot dogs tonight. Although meat stuffed in a tube doesn’t relate to Grand Central per se, I understand it parallels Metro North’s commuter train practices… ;)

    Thanks for a great job! I’m sure you know about these but, for those who don’t, the NY Times posted a PDF of a special edition it published when the Terminal opened and NPR featured the anniversary on “Morning Edition”.

    By the way, I just discovered this piece about the 101st anniversary of another NYC railroad landmark . . . in the Bronx.
